AN ACT SEPARATING THE PASIL MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL, ALSO KNOWN AS DONA EUFRONIA M. PUZON MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL-PASIL ANNEX IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PASIL, PROVINCE OF KALINGA, FROM THE DONA EUFRONIA M. PUZON MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OP PASIL AND CONVERTING IT INTO A SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PASIL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Pasil Municipal High School, also known as Dona Eufronia M. Puzon Memorial High School-Pasil Annex in the Municipality of Pasil, Province of Kalinga, is hereby separated from the Apayao Institute of Science and Technology in the Municipality of Pasil, and converted into a separate and independent national high school to be known as Pasil National High School.

Section 2. The school shall offer secondary education proper, as well as secondary science courses to carry out its objectives, and as may be authorized by the Secretary of Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

Section 4. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Pasil Municipal High School, also known as Dona Eufronia M. Puzon Memorial High School Pasil Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Pasil National High School.

Section 5. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Dona Eufronia M. Puzon Memorial National High School Pasil Annex.Ꮮαwρhi৷  Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Pasil National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
