[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8696, July 09, 1998 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BARANGAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY CANSILAYAN, MUNICIPALITY OF MURCIA, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BARANGAY CANSILAYAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established a barangay national high school in Barangay Cansilayan, Municipality of Murcia, Province of Negros Occidental, to be known as the Barangay Cansilayan National High School.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
