AQUINO, J.:

The Solicitor General appealed from the decision of the Court of First Instance of Camarines Sur dated April 3, 1965 granting the petition for naturalization of Benjamin Sun Ong (Naturalization Case No. 163).

The appeal was submitted for decision on March 25, 1967. The Solicitor General disclosed in his manifestation of March 22, 1977 that Benjamin Sun Ong filed an application for naturalization under Letter of Instructions No. 270 and that on February 19, 1976 Certificate of Naturalization No. 001164 was issued to him.

WHEREFORE, the appeal is dismissed for having become moot and academic. No costs.
