DECLARING SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN SANTIAGO CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Santiago was made into a component city on May 5, 1995, by virtue of Republic Act No. 7720;
WHEREAS, Saturday, May 5, 2007, marks the 13th foundation day anniversary of Santiago City;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Santiago City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, May 5, 2007, as special (non-working) day in Santiago City.
