CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a special session on January 3, 1990 to consider the Conference Committee reports on these two urgent bills:

1. AN ACT VESTING ADDITIONAL POWERS TO THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION CREATED UNDER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 146, SERIES OF 1989, TO CONDUCT A FACT-FINDING INVESTIGATION OF THE 1989 REBELLION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

2. AN ACT CREATING AN “ENERGY STANDBY FUND” TO SUPPORT THE OIL PRICE STABILIZATION FUND, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE BILLION PESOS THEREFORE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
