EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 59, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE AGUSAN-DAVAO-SURIGAO FOREST RESERVE, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN BISLIG, SURIGAO DEL SUR, AND DECLARING THE SAME AS CIVIL RESERVATION FOR DENR MULTI-PURPOSE SITES
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise, known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare as Civil Reservation for DENR Multi-purpose Sites (Office Site, Plantation Projects Sites and Employees Subdivision Site) of the DENR Regional Offices, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in Maharlika, Bislig, Surigao del Sur, containing an area of Fifty Five Point Twenty Four (55.24) hectares, as shown and described in CR Map, which is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point Corner “1” which is N 34 deg. 26’W., 5,401.71 meters from BLLM No. 1, PLS-480-D, Bislig Public Land Subdivision.
Thence S. 35 deg. 11’E., 207.11 m. to corner 2;
Thence S. 29 deg. 15’E., 225.44 m. to corner 3;
Thence S. 20 deg. 22’W., 207.06 m. to corner 4;
Thence S. 12 deg. 16’W., 233.59 m. to corner 5;
Thence S. 23 deg. 53’W., 130 m. to corner 6;
Thence N. 89 deg. 00’W., 280 m. to corner 7;
Thence S. 01 deg. 00’W., 530 m. to corner 8;
Thence N. 70 deg. 00’W., 132 m. to corner 9;
Thence following Road in a N.W. direction about 540 meters straight distance;
Thence following Road in a N.W. direction about 460 meters straight distance;
Thence following Road in a N.E. direction about 310 meters straight distance;
Thence following Road in a N.W. direction about 185 meters straight distance;
Thence following Sian River Downstream in S.E. direction, about 275 meters;
Thence following Sian River Downstream in N.E. direction, about 290 meters to the point of beginning.
1. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President of the Philippines by the DENR Regional Office, Davao City, within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the DENR Central Office and Forest Management Bureau copies thereof.
2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations; and
3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel of the forest land.
