DECLARING SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1989, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN

WHEREAS, the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of the Province of Bohol who distinguished himself as a statesman and dedicated most of his life to the service of his country, was born on November 4, 1896;

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran should be given full opportunity to perpetuate and honor his memory with appropriate ceremonies on his natal day;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, November 4, 1989, as a special day in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.
