[ Proclamation No. 484, October 23, 1989 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1989, as “PROVINCE OF CATANDUANES DAY” IN CATANDUANES

WHEREAS, Tuesday, October 24, 1989, marks the 44th anniversary for the charter of the Province of Catanduanes; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Catanduanes desire to commemorate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, October 24, 1989, as “Province of Catanduanes Day” in Catanduanes. This day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1
