DECLARING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1989, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN QUEZON CITY

WHEREAS, the 50th (Golden) Foundation Anniversary of Quezon City falls on Thursday, October 12, 1989; and

WHEREAS, the people of Quezon City desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, October 12, 1989, as a special day in Quezon City.
