DECLARING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1989 AS RAMON N. DURANO, SR. DAY IN THE CITY OF DANAO

WHEREAS, October 3, 1989 marks the 1st death anniversary of the late Honorable Ramon N. Durano, Sr.;

WHEREAS, the late Honorable Ramon N. Durano, Sr., made significant contributions to the political, economic, and social development of the City of Danao; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Danao City should be afforded the opportunity to remember the man on his death anniversary;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, October 3, 1989, as “Ramon N. Durano, Sr. Day” in the City of Danao. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
