[ Proclamation No. 457, August 29, 1989 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1989, AS “PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON DAY” IN BUKIDNON

WHEREAS, Friday, September 1, 1989, marks the foundation anniversary of the Province of Bukidnon; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Bukidnon should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, September 1, 1989, as “Province of Bukidnon Day” in Bukidnon. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
