DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 1989, AS “BUTUAN CITY DAY”

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 2, 1989, marks the 39th Charter Anniversary of the City of Butuan; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Butuan City desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 2, 1989, as “Butuan City Day” in Butuan City. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
