[ Proclamation No. 423, June 14, 1989 ]

DECLARING JUNE 17 OF EVERY YEAR AS AGUSAN DEL SUR DAY

WHEREAS, Saturday, June 17, 1989, marks the foundation anniversary of the Province of Agusan del Sur;

WHEREAS, the people of Agusan del Sur desire to celebrate the foundation day of their province with fitting ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare June 17 of every year as “Agusan del Sur Day.” The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
