[ Proclamation No. 422, June 14, 1989 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 1989, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY.

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 15, 1989, marks the 39th Foundation Anniversary of Cagayan de Oro City; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the accomplishment and progress of the City so as to stimulate the interest, cooperation, and participation of the residents therein.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, June 15, 1989, as a special day in Cagayan de Oro City.
