DECLARING MONDAY, JUNE 19, 1989, AS SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO

WHEREAS, June 19, 1989 marks the one hundredth twenty-eighth (128th) birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Laguna, his birthplace, should at least be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me be law, do hereby declare Monday, June 19, 1989, a special day in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
