EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIPPINE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE FROM MAY 30, 1989 TO MAY 30, 1990

WHEREAS, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) was authorized under Proclamation No. 263, dated May 26, 1988, to conduct a national fund campaign from June 1, 1988 to May 30, 1989; and

WHEREAS, there is a need for the POC to raise more funds in preparation for the Southeast Asian Games this year and for the 1990 Asian Games;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Philippine Olympic Committee from May 30, 1989 to May 30, 1990.
