DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 3 TO 9, 1989 AS “ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY WEEK”

WHEREAS, the 6th Biennial Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC) will be held from September 6 to 9, 1989 under the sponsorship of the Society of Philippine Electrical Contractors (SPEC);

WHEREAS, electrical industry is a vital factor in the economic development of a nation; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting to focus national and international attention on the significant role of electrical engineers and contractors in a country’s development program;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 3 to 9, 1989 as “Electrical Industry Week” under the auspices of the Society of Philippine Electrical Contractors.1aшphi1
