MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 386, March 13, 1989 ] AUTHORIZING THE HEART FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM MARCH 19, 1989 TO MARCH 19, 1990. WHEREAS, the Heart Foundation of the Philippines, non-profit organization established in 1972 for the purpose of conducting researches in heart disease and assisting indigent heart patients, is dependent on voluntary contributions for the funding of its scientific and humanitarian services; WHEREAS, the Heart Foundation of the Philippines is currently engaged in an intensive information campaign “Pusong Nagmamahal, Tibok ng Kinabukasan” on the proper care of the heart including the hazard of the heart diseases, and the health routine necessary to prevent heart disease and related ailments; WHEREAS, in order to assure that a greater number of the poor and under privileged receive its services, the Heart Foundation of the Philippines needs the support and cooperation of the general public; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Heart Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign from March 19, 1989 to March 19, 1990.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
