AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 357, DATED JANUARY 16, 1989, BY DECLARING FEBRUARY 27, 1989, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY.

Proclamation No. 357, dated January 16, 1989, which declared Monday, February 27, 1989 as “General Santos City Day” is hereby amended to read as follows:

“WHEREAS, Monday, February 27, 1989, marks the 50th Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City; and

“WHEREAS, the people of General Santos City should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 2 of Executive Order No. 203, dated June 30, 1987, do hereby declare Monday, February 27, 1989, as a special day in General Santos City.”
