DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 1989, AS “ARAW NG KATIPUNAN” IN KATIPUNAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE.

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 2, 1989, marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Municipality of Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte;

WHEREAS, the residents of the said municipality should be given the opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, February 2, 1989, as “ARAW NG KATIPUNAN” in Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
