DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 1989, AS “SUBPROVINCE OF BILIRAN DAY”.

WHEREAS, Saturday, April 8, 1989, marks the 30th Charter Anniversary of the Subprovince of Biliran; and

WHEREAS, the people of the Subprovince of Biliran should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 8, 1989, as “SUBPROVINCE OF BILIRAN DAY”. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
