[ Proclamation No. 1930, December 6, 1979 ]

AUTHORIZING THE CATHOLIC LAWYERS GUILD OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE FUND DRIVE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS

WHEREAS, the Catholic Lawyers Guild of the Philippines will host the 10th Congress of the International Movement of Catholic jurists to be held in Manila on December 23 to 29, 1979; and

WHEREAS, the Guild needs the support of the public to enable it to successfully host the Congress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Catholic Lawyers Guild to conduct a nationwide fund drive for a period of three months from the issuance of this proclamation.

I hereby enjoin all citizens and residents of this country, corporations, associations and other entities, public and private to give generously of their means to this undertaking.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
