DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 25 TO DECEMBER 2, 1979, AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WEEK”.
WHEREAS, the Electrical Engineering Profession has significantly contributed to the government’s massive effort in electrical power generation, rural electrification and in the conservation and utilization of energy; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus the attention of the public on the vital role played by the profession in the economic development of the country;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 25 to December 2, 1979 and every year thereafter as “Electrical Engineering Week” under the auspices of the Professional Regulation Commission, the Board of Electrical Engineering and the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines.1aшphi1
