DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 19 TO 25, 1979, AS NATIONAL ECONOMIC PROTECTIONISM ASSOCIATION (NEPA) WEEK

WHEREAS, the National Economic Protectionism Association (NEPA), one of the oldest association in the country espousing the value of economic nationalism and patriotism, will observe its 45th year on November 19, 1979; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus the attention of the public on the important role played by NEPA in inspiring Filipino pride and consciousness in things Filipino and in the economic development effort of the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 19 to 25, 1979, as NEPA Week. All schools, colleges and universities at all levels shall observe this week with fitting activities.1aшphi1
