AUTHORIZING THE BAYANIHAN FOLK ARTS ASSOCIATION (BFAA) TO CONDUCT A FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1979.

WHEREAS, the Bayanihan Folk Arts Association is a civic organization dedicated to the preservation and Philippine folk culture;

WHEREAS, the BFAA, through its Performing Arts Unit, the Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company, has for the past twenty-two years served as Philippine ambassadors of cultural exchange and goodwill and has won the acclaim of art critics and enhanced the prestige of our country abroad; and

WHEREAS, the Association needs the support of the public to enable it to carry on with its cultural activities here and abroad;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Bayanihan Folk Arts Association to conduct a nationwide fund drive during the period from October 1 to December 31, 1979.1aшphi1
