[ Proclamation No. 1915, October 17, 1979 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1979, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.

WHEREAS, the 41st Charter Anniversary of the City of Bacolod falls on Friday, October 19, 1979; and

WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, October 19, 1979, as a special public holiday in the City of Bacolod, but it shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
