DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS QUALITY CONTROL WEEK

WHEREAS, the quality of the commodities that we produce and sell for the satisfaction of the public should be the continuing concern of the government;

WHEREAS, the consumer is entitled to the benefits which quality control can offer to them; and

WHEREAS, there is a necessity to set aside a period during which concerted efforts for the exercise of quality control may be thoroughly discussed, planned and carried out;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the third week of October of every year as Quality Control Week. The Ministry of Trade and other government agencies concerned are directed to coordinate with the Philippine Society for Quality Control, Inc. in making the celebration of the week fruitful and meaningful.1aшphi1
