DECLARING SEPTEMBER 24 TO 30, 1979, AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “MANAGEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING WEEK.”

WHEREAS, the Association of Management and Industrial Engineers will hold its 26th Anniversary celebration on September 23 to 30, 1979; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed fitting and proper to focus national attention on the vital role that the management and industrial engineers play in the development of our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 24 to 30, 1979, and every year thereafter, as “Management and Industrial Engineering Week” under the auspices of the Association of Management and Industrial Engineers of the Philippines (AMIEP).1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
