DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1979, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MARAGONDON, CAVITE.

WHEREAS, the birth anniversary of the late General Emiliano Riego de Dios, an outstanding military leader during the struggle for freedom and democracy, falls on September 7, 1979; and

WHEREAS, the people of Maragondon, Cavite, his birthplace, desire to celebrate his natal day with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, September 7, 1979, as a special public holiday in Maragondon, Cavite, but it shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
