DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 30, 1979, AS BATTLE OF PINAGLABANAN DAY IN SAN JUAN, METRO MANILA.

WHEREAS, the 83rd anniversary of the Battle of Pinaglabanan falls on August 30, 1979; and

WHEREAS, the people of San Juan, Metro Manila, should be afforded full opportunity to commemorate this historical event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, August 30, 1979, as Battle of Pinaglabanan Day in San Juan, Metro Manila, but it shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
