DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 8 TO 14, 1979, AS NATIONAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WEEK AND CREATING A COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF ITS OBSERVANCE.
In order to give impetus to the role of science in the development of the country, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from July 8 to 14, 1979, as National Science and Technology Week to be observed throughout the country in schools, colleges and universities, with appropriate ceremonies, under the sponsorship of the National Science Development Board.1aшphi1
