[ Proclamation No. 1865, June 13, 1979 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 1979, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BENGUET.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 19, 1979, marks the anniversary of the creation of the Province of Benguet; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Benguet should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby declare June 19, 1979, as a special public holiday in Benguet, but the day will be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
