DECLARING OCTOBER 31 AND NOVEMBER 1, 1978, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

WHEREAS, remembering and paying homage to the dead of All Saints Day is one of our most cherished traditions; and

WHEREAS, in line with the policy of preserving our cultural traditions, our people should be afforded full opportunity to celebrate All Saints Day with all its religious piety.

NOW THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare October 31 and November 1, 1978, All Saints Day, as special public holidays.1aшphi1
