DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 22 TO 27, 1978, AS MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the government to promote management consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management is sponsoring its 9th Philippine Management Congress from October 24-26, 1978 which will be attended by management experts, practitioners and educators from the Philippines and other ASEAN countries; and

WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential to promote better business practices, increase production and improve public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to economic development, social progress and stability;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 22 to 27, 1978, as “Management Consciousness Week”.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
