DECLARING SEPTEMBER 28, 1978 A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE IN HONOR OF THE LATE WENCESLAO VINZONS.

WHEREAS, the sixty-ninth birth anniversary of the late Wenceslao Vinzons falls on September 28, 1978;

WHEREAS, Wenceslao Vinzons deserves the honor and tribute of his countrymen, for giving his life to the nation at a time when the Filipinos needed an example of courage and resistance against a foreign aggressor;

WHEREAS, for this supreme act of courage and patriotism, Wenceslao Vinzons deserves to be remembered by his people and be held up as an example for this and the next generations;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E.1aшphi1 MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, 28 September 1978, as a special public holiday for the entire province of Camarines Norte, so that the people of that place may do homage and honor to a loyal and patriotic son of that province;

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed hereon.
