DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MARAGONDON, CAVITE

WHEREAS, the birth anniversary of the late General Emiliano Riego de Dios, an outstanding military leader during our struggle for freedom and democracy, falls on September 2, 1978;

WHEREAS, the people of Maragondon, Cavite, his birth place, desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September 7, 1978, as a special public holiday in Maragondon, Cavite.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
