DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.

WHEREAS, the 128th birth anniversary of Marcelo H. del Pilar, one of the outstanding Filipino heroes in the country’s struggle for democracy and freedom, falls on Wednesday, August 30, 1978; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bulacan, the province of his birth, desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1978, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bulacan.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
