DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BUTUAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Butuan City will be celebrating the 28th Anniversary of its founding on August 2, 1978;

WHEREAS, the residents of said city should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 2, 1978, as a special public holiday in Butuan City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
