AUTHORIZING THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES COLLEGE OF LAW ALUMNI FOUNDATION, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND DRIVE STARTING AUGUST 1, 1978.

WHEREAS, the University of the Philippines College of Law Alumni Foundation, Inc., is actively engaged in the promotion and initiation of research and developmental projects in the fields of law and public administration;

WHEREAS, the Foundation needs the support of all sectors of the community to realize its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the University of the Philippines College, of Law Alumni Foundation, Inc. to conduct a national fund drive commencing on August 1, 1978.

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of nationality or creed, to give their wholehearted participation and to contribute generously of their resources to support the objectives of the said Foundation;

It is hereby reiterated that all donations or contributions which may be made by private entities or persons to the University of the Philippines College of Law Alumni Foundation, Inc., which is an NSDB registered foundation, shall be tax exempt and shall constitute allowable deductions from the income of the donors and contributors for income tax purposes.1aшphi1
