AUTHORIZING THE CAMPAIGN FOR JUSTICE FOUNDATION, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM MAY 1, 1978 TO APRIL 30, 1979

WHEREAS, the Campaign for Justice Foundation, Inc. has among its objectives the upliftment of the social and economic well-being of the poor masses of our people;

WHEREAS, the Foundation after extending financial and moral support to our beleaguered Filipino nurses in the United States, is now engaged in social and educational welfare activities; and

WHEREAS, the Foundation needs the support of the public in order to realize its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Campaign for Justice Foundation, Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from May 1, 1978 to April 30, 1979.

I enjoin all citizens and residents of this country to give generously of their means and support this laudable undertaking.1aшphi1

All contributions and donations as well as all funds raised by the Foundation shall be exempt from the payment of amusement and all forms of taxes and shall constitute allowable deductions in full for income tax purposes.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
