DECLARING SATURDAY, JULY 1, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN SOUTHERN LEYTE.
WHEREAS, Saturday, July 1, 1978, marks the eighteenth anniversary of the creation of Southern Leyte; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Southern Leyte should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order and declare, Saturday, July 1, 1978, as a special public holiday in Southern Leyte.
