RESERVING FOR ANTHROPOLOGICAL AND ARCHEOLOGICAL RESEARCH PURPOSES A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF QUEZON, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN.

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby withdraw from sale or other models of disposition and reserve for anthropological and archeological research purposes under the administration of the National Museum the parcel of land of the public domain situated in Barangays Ransang and Candawaga, Municipality of Quezon, Province of Palawan, more particularly described as follows:

“Beginning at the mouth of the Ilog River, from the corner of its southern bank southeast following the Ilog River to its source, thence south 10 degrees west, following the ridgeline 2,500 meters to a point at the summit of Mt. Matalingahan, thence south 27 degrees west, following the ridgeline approximately 6,500 meters, thence south 86 degrees west approximately 3,000 meter to the source of Magdagat-dagat creek, thence northwest following the Magdagat-dagat creek thence northwest following the Magdagat-dagat creek to its point of junction with the Culasian River, thence, northwest of the Culasian River to its point of junction with Binwang-Binwang creek, thence, northeast following the Binwang-Binwang Creek to its source, thence, north 63 degrees east 600 meters to a point on the Candawaga River, thence northwest following the Candawaga River approximately 8,000 meters to its mouth, thence, northeast following the coast line 13,700 meters to the point of beginning containing an area of approximately 23,000 hectares, more or less . . . situated within the Barangays of Ransang and Cadawaga, Municipality of Quezon, Province of Palawan, Republic of the Philippines. . .”

No entry shall be allowed in the reserved area except upon proper authorization or permit granted by the Director of the National Museum or his duly authorized representative.1aшphi1
