DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MANILA

WHEREAS, Saturday, June 24, 1978 marks the 408th foundation anniversary of the City of Manila; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Manila should be afforded the full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their City’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, June 24, 1978, as a special public holiday in the City of Manila.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
