[ Proclamation No. 1730, April 24, 1978 ]

DECLARING APRIL 25, 1978, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN.

WHEREAS, the 22nd anniversary of the creation of the province of Aklan falls on April 25, 1978; and

WHEREAS, the people of said province be afforded the opportunity to commemorate with fitting ceremonies this milestone in their province’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 25, 1978, as a special public holiday in the province of Aklan.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
