[ Proclamation No. 1713, February 15, 1978 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE AMATEUR TRACK AND FIELD ASSOCIATION TO CONDUCT A FUND DRIVE FROM FEBRUARY 15 TO AUGUST 15, 1978.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association is launching a “Junior Track and Field Championship” project in line with the government’s sports development program; and

WHEREAS, the Association needs the support of the private and public sectors to realize its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association to conduct a fund drive for the period from February 15 to August 15, 1978.

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines irrespective of nationality or creed to give generously and participate actively in this campaign.

All donations and contributions to this fund campaign shall be exempt from income and gift taxes and the same shall constitute allowable deductions from the income of donors and contributors for income tax purposes.1aшphi1
