DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND CITY OF TAGBILARAN

WHEREAS, Friday, November 4, 1977, marks the 31st birth anniversary of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of Bohol province who became the President of the Philippines and the first President of the 1971 Constitutional Convention; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol and Tagbilaran City desire to commemorate, with proper ceremonies, his natal day;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, November 4, 1977, as a special public holiday in the province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.
