DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, August 30, 1977, marks the birth anniversary of Marcelo H. del Pilar, one of the most outstanding Filipino heroes in the country’s struggle for freedom and democracy; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bulacan, the province of his birth desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 30, 1977, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bulacan.
