DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN SAN JUAN, METRO MANILA.

WHEREAS, the residents of San Juan, Metro Manila celebrate the 81st anniversary of the historic Battle of Pinaglabanan; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to give the people of San Juan, Metro Manila full opportunity to celebrate this momentous event in our history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 30, 1977, as a special public holiday in San Juan, Metro Manila.
