DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY AND QUEZON PROVINCE.

WHEREAS, Friday, August 19, 1977, marks the 99th birth anniversary of the late President Manuel L. Quezon, one of the foremost leaders and statesmen the country ever produced;

WHEREAS, the residents of Quezon City and Quezon Province desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, August 19, 1977, as a special public holiday in Quezon City and Quezon Province.1aшphi1
