DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 16, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN PASAY CITY.

WHEREAS, Pasay City celebrates the sixteenth day of August as “Araw ng Pasay” marking its foundation day thirty years ago; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Pasay City should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 16, 1977, as a special public holiday in Pasay City.
